Intel’s current line-up of “Arrow Lake” Core Ultra 200 series of processors first launched in October last year, alongside motherboards powered by the high-end Intel Z890 chipset. Since then, the Intel Core Ultra 200 series hasn’t really fared well against the competition (i.e. AMD’s “Zen 5” Ryzen 9000 series offerings), owing to the fact that it wasn’t able to deliver on significant performance gains over Intel’s previous-generation Raptor Lake Refresh product offerings, especially on the gaming front, where we had instances of performance regression with Arrow Lake parts when compared to Raptor Lake Refresh offerings.
