In this video, I put the Sony A7C II and 16–35mm f/4 G Power Zoom lens through a real-world test to see if it could become my all-in-one hybrid setup for both photo and video. I’ve been trying to simplify my gear — ideally shooting everything with one camera instead of juggling multiple devices like the DJI Pocket 3.
From a spontaneous tour at the AGO to casual outings, I tested how well this combo handles hybrid shooting. While the video quality, stabilization, and power zoom impressed me, the 16mm end felt a bit too wide for my taste in photos. I found myself missing that 50mm perspective and a brighter aperture.
