Nikon invited me to test their Nikon ZR pre-launch, so I took it on a real-world assignment to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Uganda to film a mini-documentary and push this camera to its limits. This review is the story of that field test. No charts. No gimbals. Just what the Nikon ZR can do in the wild, in the hands of an aspiring filmmaker like me.
